Networking meetings of the institutions involved in the NFDI in Bavaria.

Many institutions participate in the development and development of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The chairs, research and infrastructure institutions involved have so far hardly cross-linked beyond their own consortia. A first start-up and networking meeting of the Bavarian participants at the NFDI should help.

The Directorate-General of the State Archives of Bavaria, which is involved in several consortia, has adopted the 20th July 2023 invited to a network meeting of the actors involved in the NFDI.
Contacts have been made, joint challenges in research data management such as long-term storage and long-term archiving have been discussed on the basis of concrete projects and joint project ideas across consortia have been designed for possible synergies.

We would like to give you an opportunity in a project pitch to present your pioneering project for sustainable research data management.

For further questions, the Head of the Research Unit, Dr. Markus Schmalzl (tel.: 089/28638-2445, e-mail:
