Anastasia Anderson Manahan gained worldwide attention with her multi-filmed life history. The story of the young woman who allegedly escaped the shooting command of the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution as the only member of the tsar family and then hoped for general recognition in vain contained all elements of a modern tragedy. 07.10-04.12.2020: Conference and exhibition "We Ludwig of God's Grace"
From 7 to 9 October 2020, the conference “We Ludwig von Gotts Grace” was held in the University of Augsburg and the State Archive Augsburg. The first appearance of national-language documents in European law firms of kings and landlords’. During the conference, the Staatsarchiv Augsburg will show an exhibition that will be on display until 4 December. The exhibition focuses on documents from the collections of the State Archives of Augsburg, complemented by top-class lending from the Bavarian Main State Archives. The German-speaking documents Ludwigs des Bayern are at the centre of the exhibition and conference. A systematic study of this document complex and the language used has so far been available. The conference is dedicated especially to the German language of law under Ludwig to Bavaria and its significance for the new high-German language. 24.09.2020: "Fabrikkinderarbeit in Bayern im 19. Jahrhundert" - Lehrausstellung im Bayerischer Hauptstaatsarchiv
On the occasion of World Children's Day will be on Tuesday, 24. September 2019, the small exhibition "Fabrikkinderarbeit in Bayern" in the Bavarian Main State Archive in 19th Century’ open. The exhibition was opened in the course of training in the preparation service 2017/2020 for the entry into the 3rd Education and Science, specialized in archives, at the University of Applied Sciences in Bavaria. Employment of under 14-year-olds in Bavaria totaled 19. A century of reality, such as crafts and services, but above all in agriculture. Since the beginning of industrialization, children have also been employed as cheap workers in factories, including bricks. The exhibition highlights this chapter of Bavarian economic and social history among the questions: What sources give information about factory child labour in Bavaria?
